PKL was founded in 1995 in order to manufacture photomasks - the material for semiconductors and TFT-LCD - with our own technologies. For the last 10 years, PKL has been dedicated to technology developments and strategic market expansions, brought-in Korean power in the Japanese-dominating industry and become the Korea’s biggest photomask company.
Photomasks might sound unfamiliar to some of us, but in reality, they are quite close to our daily lives.
Our every-day necessities such as computers, mobile phones, PDAs, monitors, cameras, TVs, etc., all need photomasks where semiconductor circuits and LCD patterns are etched in. Like this, PKL has contributed to the national economy as a sound partner of Korea’s semiconductor and TFT-LCD industry.
